Upsilon Sigma Honor Society

UConn's Upsilon Sigma Honors Society comprises outstanding urban and community studies majors and minors across all campuses.

Upsilon Sigma recognizes and encourages excellence in scholarship, leadership, and engagement in urban studies and related fields. Founded in 2018, the University's chapter hosts volunteer events geared toward uniting the major and getting students involved in the local community.

Requirements

The society is open to all urban and community studies majors and minors. To qualify for induction, students must:

• Have an overall GPA of 3.3.
• Have a 3.5 GPA within the UCS major/minor.
• Completed at least 12 credits within the UCS major/minor.
